Northern Waters Passport Program

The Library Passport Program from the Northern Waters Library Network invites you to stop in at any Northern Waters library and pick up a passport. Make sure to bring your passport with you as you travel throughout northern Wisconsin this spring and summer and get a stamp at each library you visit. Collect 10 different stamps and you’ll be given an entry form to submit for a prize drawing!

2025 Summer Story Time

In-person at the library, every Tuesday at 10 AM starting June 17th. 

The theme this summer is “Color Our World.”  This program is geared towards our toddlers to pre-school aged children.  It includes fun stories, songs, games, and a creative craft, all based on a weekly theme.  Tuesdays at 10 am.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

​1000 books before kindergarten is an early literacy program designed to help prepare a child to enter kindergarten. The goal is to foster a love for reading. Children from infant up to kindergarten can participate.

Stop into the library to sign up and get a folder and reading log.

Northwoods Children’s Museum Pass

The Plum Lake Library offers free passes to the Northwoods Children’s Museum in Eagle River. The pass is good for up to six people (adults and/or children). It can be reserved for one day only.

Story Walk at Awassa Trails

Take a hike in the woods at the beautiful Awassa Trails and enjoy reading a book along the way. Park at the trailhead behind the St Germain Elementary School and walk the 1.4 mile green loop. 

This project is a partnership with the St Germain Non-Motorized Trails Committee.
